Re: Overhaulin Has a 1967 Truck!

Is that the one that he stuck the Corvair tail lights in the bumper?

I don't care how nice, or what the intentions..... anybody better think twice before they steal my truck! I'm not well.... in the head!

It's my truck, stay away!

A public service announcement!

There are a ton of things I can do that aren't car related that people pay me to do because they cant. That doesn't make their stuff mine. It is what makes the world go round though. If everyone could do every thing we wouldn't have much of an economy.
My intent wasn't to put anyone down but to let all of you see that there are wide differences between us. Criticizing the work of one of the best in the custom car business is a waste of energy because he is one of the best. If you don't like what he does because you would prefer to go another way fine, but there is no need to tear down what he does simply because you would go another way.
It took me 30 years of my life to learn to do what I do with cars, trucks and bikes. It took my entire life to learn that taking a shot at work that someone else has done is just a waste of time and energy to no purpose at all and I will not do that. I might (translate that as will) say something to someone who does that, though. It's a failing of mine.
As for owning what you bought, well, you do because you did buy it. We all do the same thing when we take on one of these projects. We do what we can within a budget, skills and the resources we have in our shop or garage. What is beyond our capabilities we get from someone else. If you do what you can, buy what you can't and put time and care into everything the results will always please you. That is what this hobby is. If the results you get don't please someone else, the world does not come to an end.

So, with all of that said, I apologize to any and every person my comments offended.
