Gas tank relo question
What is the best rear mount tank that has a side fill but does not hang below the rear bumper when you look at the truck from the rear?

Re: Gas tank relo question
Not sure on that one. I used an aluminum fuel cell with a fill through the bed. I like it very well. I know you have your preferences, but here is a back shot of mine, can't see much of it.

Re: Gas tank relo question
I just put a blazer tank in my 69 and used the left rear stack pocket for the filler inlet, works great and not to noticable,

Re: Gas tank relo question
I don't think you would much capacity, if it was only as tall as the frame rails.

Re: Gas tank relo question
Some People are using 1964-68 Mustang tanks for the same reason. They don't want them to hang down too low. I'm planning on buying one of these too.
They are only 16 gallons but, from all the ideas I've seen, the Mustang tanks hang down the least. I think the ones from Tanks Inc. have all the plumbing on top not hanging down which is a hazard. I'm going for the EFI version and will run it with a regular fuel pickup for now and the universal sending unit in the same ohms as our trucks. Then I'll be ready for the EFI later when I upgrade my engine. Also noticed the Mustang tanks are unvented, so people have to add a vent or use a vented cap.

Re: Gas tank relo question
The only way you could see my blazer tank is If you were laying on the ground.
My 69 was dropped 5" in the rear.
