Tahoe/yukon seat exchange issue
I recently bought 2 front yukon seats with integrated seat belts for my 70 blazer. My issue is I can't utilize both stock bolt holes on one side or able to bolt in a front corner since the seat can't be backed up far enough to expose the front stock bolt hole. Anyone else have the same issue or a solution?
Or, what method are you all using to mount these seats or straight to the chassis? Thanks |

Re: Tahoe/yukon seat exchange issue
I did the same swap. I wasn't able to use the original holes so I used flat stock metal under floor to add strength. On the outside holes, I had to drill through the rockers and use longer bolts. I came up from the under-side of the floor and put the nuts on the inside under the seats. The seats worked well and are very comfortable. The only draw back is access to the rear seat since these seats won't slide forward very far and won't flip up.

Re: Tahoe/yukon seat exchange issue
I am pretty sure I used socket head bolts that take an allen head wrench for a couple of those hard to get to locations for the seats I installed in my K20.
