Flip kit differences?
I'm getting ready to drop my 97 Yukon. What's the difference between a rear flip, u bolts, saddles, for a Yukon/Tahoe vs a GMC/Chevy pickup? I understand some of the SUV kits use a spring hanger for the drop, I just want to use an old school style flip, saddles and u bolts. I can't see where there would be any difference. Thoughts?
Thanks!

Re: Flip kit differences?
Anyone?
I'm asking because there seems to be two different part numbers for most of the kits. I don't want to use the spring hangers, just the saddles and u bolts. I can't imagine there being any difference between a pickup and Tahoe/Yukon saddle. But, what I couldn't imagine in the past has sometimes bit me in the rear. LOL.

Re: Flip kit differences?
Is this a 2-dr or 4-dr Yukon?
2wd or 4wd? Seems like the flip kit requires a c-notch and gets the rear very low. Some interesting pic here,... http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/g...oe-advice.html

Re: Flip kit differences?
I would use McGaughy's or Belltech parts.

Re: Flip kit differences?
I'm definitely using Belltech spindles, would trust any other brand.

Re: Flip kit differences?
if I remember right you have to use a flip kit and front spring hangers on the rear. I had one and used a belltech kit on it.
