Shifter

Running an sbc350 with Th350 auto, I'm gonna keep the bench seat. Will I have to use the Lokar shifter that's got a bent rod for a bench seat? Or can I use the straight one? Thanks

Re: Shifter

We are installing a lokar for the 700r4 now. It is the 23" model and has the bends in it. We are having to move it all the way forward on the mounting bracket to clear the bench seat so had to order a bell adapter kit to make it work. Even with that on it there is zero room when it's shifted into the lowest position.

I don't think there's a lot of difference in mine and yours but you might want to call Lokar and ask before making the purchase.

Re: Shifter

I have used both the strait and the bent shaft from Lokar. Both will work but both will press on the seat at the lowest gear.
