Re: WTB - Chevy 250 Clifford Intake
You'd be better off buying a brand new one. You really won't save all that much buying a used one...and plus you won't know if it has any problems until you bolt it on....A brand new Clifford intake is $300 from clifford...or you can get the offy from summet for $280 and in some cases even lower. I bought my clifford intake new...mainly cause I have a warranty....which I wouldn't had I bought it used.

Re: WTB - Chevy 250 Clifford Intake
I had one listed in the 67-72 parts for $170 plus shipping. TTT it 3 weeks. It needed cleaning from sitting and a friend of my is sending it thru his machine he uses to clean trans mission parts, plus I have a set of head man headers with only surface rust here and there . A good scotch brite scrub and paint and you have a great lifetime warranty set of headman headers $110 plus shipping. a couple of pix below

Re: WTB - Chevy 250 Clifford Intake
I am leaving for a week Saturday. He said he would have the intake done by the time I get back. It will be and look as new. No problems with any bolt holes all flanges are flat, slight grind to fit P/S so it wouldn't rub.
The headers are in great condition no rust other than surface and headman offers lifetime warranty. These are the real deal thick flanges, heavy duty thick tubes. I have had several sets of headman 6 cylinder headers on different trucks thru the last 35 years and they are a great header. B a nice set up with the intake and headers combo, I would do $260 plus shipping, pay pal extra......... pm me if interested give me a number before Sat and we can talk. Thanks, Steve |

Are the bosses on the backside welded up coolant ports or just never opened up?

Re: WTB - Chevy 250 Clifford Intake
Sorry for the delay in response... NewFisher has a good question. Also, was the intake off of your truck? So, you know there are no issues with it? I have a new set of Clifford short tubes. So, I think I am good there.
