Crate 350 & 700R4
I am about to perform an LS swap on my 2wd Jimmy and would like to get an idea of the value on my current engine and transmission.
Currently in my Jimmy is a crate 350 that was installed in 2000, not sure of the miledge, but it does run good. Starts up consistently, and I have no issues with it. HEI was installed earlier this year as well as the Quadrajet was rebuilt at the same time the transmission was rebuilt. Attached to the 350 is a 700R4 that was rebuilt last year and uses the bow tie overdrives TV set up. Trans shifts good and there are no issues with it. Would like to sell it complete since it is ready to drop in and go. Thank you, Bob |

Hi Bob, I've sold similar set ups in the $800 range, let me know what you decide, might be able to help you find you a buyer.

Thanks for the response. I was hoping for a little more, but it may be wishful thinking. Still need to get a few things like Dakota Digital, American Auto Wiring Harness and Body mounts and was hoping the Motor and Trans would go a little ways to finance this items. The 350 will come with A/C compressor and brackets, not sure if the compressor works or not. Power Steering pump and brackets, without the hoses. I am keeping the starter, I believe it will work for my LS since the starter is a gear reduction starter for an 8.1. Thanks, Bob |

Re: Crate 350 & 700R4
He's right on with $800 for that combo if carb to pan with all accessories. Wont get much more, maybe try list listing high at $1200 but $800 is reasonable.
