1985 K10 stepside build
I ordered this truck when I was 17 from a local dealer. with a 305 / 700R4 Silverado package and 3.73 gears. it was repainted in '93 and put out to pasture in 2002. in 2011 we removed the body. rebuilt a center bolt 350 4 bolt main .030 over. had the transmission rebuilt. replaced all rubber body mounts and seals. my son was taking auto body in school so him and his buddy did the body work and painted. it took use two years and a lot of time together. he is now 18 and drives it every day he enjoys the looks and complements his hard work gets and it' cool he's driving the same truck I was at his age I did not take a lot of photos but here are a few.

Looks good. I like the color; what color was it from the factory?

Beautiful truck! It's nice that it has stayed in the family.
It would be cool if you could dig up some pictures from when it was new! |
