York Compressor Bracket Removal Help!
I'm going to pull out my current old and broken down aftermarket knee knocker AC system this weekend, and replace it with a Vintage Air or Old Air Products in dash system sometime before next summer hopefully. I have some questions regarding the bolts that are holding the AC compressor bracket on currently.
My compressor is a York compressor, and the bracket is a platform style bracket. It is secured by several bolts. 1 bolt is attached to one side of the thermostat housing, 2 bolts are attached to the water pump. 1 is attached to the carb return spring holder and the last is attached to the front bolt hole on the passenger side exhaust manifold. My question is do you guys think I can use the current bolts after the bracket is removed or will the bolts most likely be too long? I realize that I will find out once I do it, but if I know now, then I can maybe plan to figure out the thread size(s) and lengths of each bolt needed so I can source the bolts now before I tear everything off. If anyone happens to know the size(s) and thread types of the bolts I mentioned above that would help me a lot, otherwise I'll have to pull them out and run to the hardware store and figure it out. Here are some pics of what I'm dealing with :

Re: York Compressor Bracket Removal Help!
Those bolts are all 3/8x16 coarse thread, available at any auto or hardware store. As for length, some may be reused and some not. You will have to take them out and check the depth of the holes.
