Should I be Concerned About This?
These gaps in between the wheel and the hubs? I bought my wheels off a guy who had them on a K5 so they should be the same right? I'm wondering if I need some sort of rings to fill in that space between the wheel center and the hubs.

Re: Should I be Concerned About This?
No, the lug nuts center the wheel. From what I have been told by a rear end shop, the hub center on the axle centers the brake drum or rotor...not the wheel.

Re: Should I be Concerned About This?
Ok, so the lugs don't need help from the hub.

Re: Should I be Concerned About This?
That is the case with 99% of aftermarket wheels.
OE Wheels would be supported by the hub, and the lugs/nuts would hold the wheel to the hub. Most aftermarket wheels have the wheels supported by the lugs/nuts. hub centric vs. lug centric. |

Re: Should I be Concerned About This?
looks like you're running tapered lug nuts and a shouldered wheel. Are the holes on the wheel tapered? If not you'll need the correct lug nuts since the wheels are not hub-centric.

Re: Should I be Concerned About This?
I'm not sure. I'll buy the correct ones if they're not already, what do I look for?

Re: Should I be Concerned About This?
There will be a bowl shaped taper under the head of the nut. It will align with the bowl shape in the stud pilot

Re: Should I be Concerned About This?
Here's some info on lug nut styles.
You likely have conical seat ones on there but need the mag style. http://www.performanceplustire.com/t...About-Lug-Nuts |

Take one of them off & confirm what you have first.
