Guys,I am replacing the front power drums on my 68 C20 with a disc setup from a 71 C20.My question is,Can I use the 68 drum/drum booster on the disc/drum setup?Booster on the 71 already gone.
Thanks.

Re: Booster question

Yes. But you need to swap out your drum/drum proportioning valve to a disc/drum unit.

Re: Booster question

Yes. The booster will work. Like cleszkie said you need to get a proportioning valve for disc/drum. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to get a 71 master cylinder. The reservoir for the discs is bigger than the one for drums. Your current mc will have two of the same size reservoirs.
