Wiper switch help for the uk
Hi
I'm restoring the wiper mechanism on my 57 GMC truck, and I have got it all running, except the rotary wiper switch and cable is beyond repair. I have looked at Brothers and LMC and others for replacements, but none of them seem to stock the part. Does anyone know where I can get one from? Steve |

Re: Wiper switch help for the uk
i gave mine away on this forum a while back otherwise i could send you mine.
i still have my factory wipers on my 58, they are electric but used the same rotary switch w/ cable when i shaved my dash i lost the spot for the rotary switch i converted the spot next to my headlight switch to wiper switch using a stock throttle or choke cable it attached to the wiper motor without any problem, i did cut the housing and cable to fit this won't help if your doing a points restoration, but may get your wipers working to get an inspection this is the spot where i made my wipers work (left of the cluster) out this much is off, in a bit is low, in all the way is off
