72 c10 i6

hey guys i have 1972 C10 with a 250 i6 with only 26,000 miles on it. the truck is a complete rust bucket but that is besides the point my question is when idling it is fine i recently put on a manual choke. it idles fine but when driving it i will come up tp stop sign and push on clutch and it will slowly drop rpms and die.their is a 2 solenoids on is hooked up and the other i use as an idle adjustment. what are they and how do i fix my problems. any advice would be greatly appreciated
