Hello from lower Bavaria

Hi all,
My name's Tom, I'm 25 years old an live in the bavarian forest. I've already read a lot here, so I thought it's time to register and say hello. As far as I could see, you're all a very friendly and helpful community.
I came around, while searching about bagging my truck...
I've got a 66 GMC c20, it was built with a V6, but now it's a 350/350..... The truck came from LA to my garage this year in July....
Since then, I'm thinking about what to do with it...
I love it how it is, but I would also love to see it lay frame....or I go searching for a V6 Engine an change it, because so far I know these are pretty rare.... Some experts here in Germany even told me a V6 was never built in 66....
At the moment it's going to be bagged , but i've some problems thinking about the front....It's a must for me to keep it 8 lug with drum brakes...I just love it....
Here are a few pics of my truck and of a little german brother of it, I'm putting together at the moment. His brother is a Opel Admiral from 66, one of 622 with a 283 SBC inside....Thanks GM
So far....
Ps.: I'm sorry for my bad english....
