hangars shackles

I am re-energized. I have a 91 gmc reg cab long. I am repairing rockers cab. Corners. I finished box painted. While the box ia off I am thinking now if ever I should lower it. Tires are brand new. Lt 235 15. Heavy tread. I have 8" ralleys. Painted bright silver. If I mount those tires on raleys and install hangers an shackles using 1" hole will the truck look level. Btw. The truck has luverne drop step rear bumper. I can post pics from other puter

Re: hangars shackles

The hanger and shackles in the 1" hole will typically give you a 3" drop, it only takes a 2" drop generally to level a truck out. so either the shackles at 2" or the hangers should be sufficient.
