What size is the "e" clip on the rear brake shoes?
I don't know the proper terms for some of this, but...what size is the "e" clip that holds the parking brake lever to the rear brake shoes? I have a '69 C-10 ½-ton. And I'm talking about the retaining clip that keeps the stud from the parking brake lever from pulling out of the hole in the rear-most brake shoe. Clear as mud?

Re: What size is the "e" clip on the rear brake shoes?
I am trying to recall from memory. I don't think that clip is a real e-clip but one that you bend the end close once you slide it on. I think I recall them coming in a brake hardware kit. Typically I can use a wide blade screwdriver to bend it back open, to remove and once I replaced the shoe, I would slide it back on and bend it close with a set of pliers.
Looked up on NAPA online and it looks like the hardware kit uses a e-clip as a replacement. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...202_0094753409

Re: What size is the "e" clip on the rear brake shoes?
Not sure if this will help or if this is the one your talking about.. this is the only e-clip that was in my spring package. truck is a 72. size is .223 on the open end, so maybe the stud groove is .250..
