1967 327 engine 4 barl 400 trans ?

Is a 1967 327 engine 4 barl carb 400 trans the same from both a car and truck ? If so, are there any other parts I need to grab from the car.

No, not the same.
The car engines typically were higher horsepower than the trucks which were typically designed for a lower rpm torque curve.
To my recollection those (car) 327 engines came in several hp levels...250hp (base) 275hp and 300 hp. The higher hp jobs were typically for the Corvettes or the performance chevys.
Regardless, those 327's are great little engines....you should definitely grab it if its a good price and in good shape.

If you are talking about being physically the same, yes they are. It would bolt into a truck with no problems using the truck mounts. I would get any related parts like the shift linkage, throttle linkage, and that type of stuff. If you don't need it no problem, but if you do and didn't keep it you would be kicking yourself....
