GMC 702 twin six water pump removal

OK folks, new to this forum. So here we go. Just picked up a GMC V-12, all is going well in the destruction mode, I mean tear down. However, I can't get the bottom pulley to move for removal of the water pump. I have tried every method of puller I have, but it won't budge. Am I missing something???!!!

Welcome to the board!

I can't help you with the problem but for those of you reading this thread that don't have a clue what he is talking about here is a video of one.....


I would think there would be a section in the service manuals about them. The pulleys should come off the same as the V6.

PM member "coyoterun". He has a lot of expertise on these engines and can probably give you an answer. He has had several and as far as I know is probably the most knowledgeable member on them.
