What in the heck is that thing called the door check gilts to??

My truck was missing the driver side door check so I bought one, only to realize the tab it bolts to on the cab is missing. I could probably make something that work but I would prefer to save the time and buy the piece. Anybody know where I can find one or what I should look under? I'm not having much luck...

You are good! I have been scouring ebay for days looking for those! Thanks much, and my dented door and fender thank you too.

Jeep Cherokee, NOT Grand Cherokee, door checks are a direct bolt in and allow the door to open a bit more without any door to fender contact...

I used the rear ones but shortened them 1/4". they work not shortened but the door is real close to fender. (rears are way cheaper also)
