Open to Opinions... on tire sizes.

Thinking on running 18's front and 19's rear on a 68 Shortbox.
What size tires look best?

Re: Open to Opinions... on tire sizes.

In my opinion....I'd run 20's, not 19's.

I'm considering 255-45/18 and 295-40/20 on my truck (also thinking of 18's all the way around)

I personally like 18 all the way around.

Re: Open to Opinions... on tire sizes.

Nothing wrong with 18s and 19s. I'm running 19s on all four and it's a great look. Gives an updated hot rod look without going so far as a resto-mod (IMHO). For tires, shoot for something around 28" and 29" diameters on the 18"/19" combination. One point is to maintain similar sidewall height. Width wise is up to you and the look you're after.
