Leather interior or vinyl?
I am at the point where I need to decide what to do with my interior. I am thinking all black leather but was hoping to see some photos of yours to help me with ideas. My interior color is cream white.

Paint looks good. Subscribed ...I was also thinking about leather in the future.
You definitely should post more pictures.

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
Dropped mine off last week. All leather. Perforated leather centers and buddy seat in perf. I'll post pics as soon as it's done.

Heres mine got the seats in a salvage yard and I built the center seat which tilts forward and the amp and alarm is under it. All black leather with white paint.

Dentguy, I am always down in Wa for shopping, do you know of any decent car shows that are worth a Sunday cruise?

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
Hayson, that looks great. I am keeping the bench as of now, meeting with a interior guy tomorrow to help me out with ideas.

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
Your title asks leather or vinyl. No contest, leather breathes and vinyl does not. Definitely go with leather, costs more but well worth it. Beautiful truck, let's see more pics.

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
I generally prefer cloth over either one - more comfort on hot summer days.

I would not go with black though. I would go more tan or doeskin color.

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
Nice interior and I recommend leather even though I'm an aircraft and automotive upholster. Will hold up better in extreme tempertures then vinyl.

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
I decided on leather because even when it looks bad, it looks good. Nothing real fancy, barbed wire scratches, wrinkles, and "character" marks all added up to what I wanted in my ride.
I had the seat, door panels, (originally painted steel), dash pad, and sun visors done. Just these few pieces added up to two hides.

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
Thanks for the replies guys, I spoke with the guy that's going to be doing my interior and got a few good ideas. I don't think light would look that good when you see the colors in person.

Re: Leather interior or vinyl?
I'll "Go against the grain" here and recommend vinyl. With the high end vinyl available now (think marine) it's available in nearly any color you can imagine and is super durable for wear and uv resistance. The different grains available and how soft some of it is you would have a hard time telling it apart from leather. And much much cheaper.
