Tie rod and spindle question...

will the 73-87 Outer Tie Rod Ends work with the 63-70 spindles?...

Don't know for sure, but since 1971 and later are different than 1970, I'm going to guess not.

Ok... well dang.... CPP sent me the wrong Sleeves and we are down to paint and I was hoping to just run to the parts store and get the 73-87 Outer ends and move forward... Just got off the phone with CPP and they are overnighting the correct sleeve to me...

71-72 and 73-87 tie rod sleeves are 11/16" diameter.
63-70 tie rod sleeves are 5/8" diameter.

I was actually more concerned if the 73-87 outer tie rod would work with the 63-70 spindle...

Yes, I understood that.

It will not.
The 73-87 outer tie rod is too big for the hole in the 63-70 spindle,... and it wouldn't have connected to the 63-70 tie rod sleeve.
