Hiway speed vibration
Hey guys , I'm fairly new to the 4wd business. In these trucks,
I recent bought a 72 K10 It cruises down the highway at great in 2wd hubs unlocked But I went out today with it in 2wd and the hubs locked and it's got an ugly vibration 60-70 mph. , The hubs lock and unlock smoothly, and after a good drive the hubs aren't hot , Where do I start looking ??

With the hubs locked, the front driveshaft is turning even in 2WD. Might have bad u-joint / double cardan joint in the front DS, or bad u-joints(s) at the outer ends of the front axle.

Re: Hiway speed vibration
I had a moment there haha,
Yes I'm betting it's that drive shaft, I'll unlock the hubs and throw it in 4wd and try it again. That should narrow it down
