WTB; 1977 Instrument cluster with Tach and small fuel gauge

I currently have a 1977 K10 with the large fuel gauge and the blank in the lower left spot on the cluster. The previous owner put an aftermarket tach on the steering column that I dont like. What I would like to do is get a 1977 cluster with the tach and the small fuel gauge. A 1976 or 1977 will work with the Volt and mechanical Oil pressure. If I understand what I have read, I sould be able to get the new (old ) one and plug it in and wire the tach to my HEI. Any help or suggestions? where can I find the correct rear (light green part) that holds the instrument, buy the printed circuit and new gauges.

Also, I think a 1976 will work too?

You can contact me at 612-384-3821 or jcwoodworks@charter.net

Thanks,
Carl

Re: WTB; 1977 Instrument cluster with Tach and small fuel gauge

Interesting Carl I want the same thing for my '74, and I thought I could do the same thing, take the large fuel gauge out to the right of the speedo and install a tach in there and then get a small fuel gauge and install it where the parking brake dummy light is in the lower left hand corner, but I think we need to buy a new cluster housing as there is not even a hole behind the brake light currently just a light bulb, and the fuel gauge plugs in with three long bolt studs into special recepticles behind it, here is a pic of mine partially taken apart

Yes we need the cluster housing and a new printed electrical circuit.

LMC Truck has the printed circuit on page 120 for $80 bucks and the reproduction Tachs on page 127 for $130, they also have the small fuel gauges for $60, as far as the housing maybe Pick N Pull if you got one in your area

or we go Def Con 4
