Just a question, has any one installed the lock type window thing-a ma-jigs that have the little push button to stop someone from sliding a knife to open the vent window? I've seen them on other older vehicles..

Re: side window vents.....
Had Roger Koop install them on my new vent windows I got from him. Nothing is going to make our trucks "theft proof" but these will slow them down a little bit...

Re: side window vents.....
Anyone serious enough can "slim jim" the door lock in less than 5 seconds , Your time and money would be better spent installing a hidden ignition cut off pressure switch in the drivers visor , as for items in the truck ? Well if they really want in a rock does wonders on glass . you can never underestimate how fast one of these trucks can disappear !a hidden GPS tracking locator can be installed for less than $200.00 and activated from your smart phone I use them on my John Deere tractors on the farm to sleep at night
