Re: Spindles?
You will need to switch the ball joints to larger size.

Re: Spindles?
You will also need the correct outer tie rod ends and adapter sleeves to use them with your 68 inners.

Re: Spindles?
I think i found a company that makes spindles for 1963-- 1970 that take the 3/4 ton ball joint and uses all of the stock Tie rod ends and Pittman arm and all the linkage for 258.12
Please call them on shipping. These are stock spindles Not lowing spindles But they do make lowering spindles All of you new guys that have 3/4 ton trucks your worries are over Now a 5 lug wheels are in sight. Now all you have to do is find a 1/2 ton Rear end change the rear springs and the front springs and you will have a 1/2 ton truck better gas mileage and you can put them Alum 5 lug rims on your ride. The guys using the rear coil Springs you will need to find a Coil spring 1/2 rear end But this is for the guys that have the Leaf spring Rear ends Part Number CP4S12 This is At CCP they Make front end parts for all trucks Comes with a Life time Warranty There in Calif phone number 1-888-522-8303 I talk to a guy named Mario They make them for the 2.5 drop spindles as well All of the Disc bakes from the 1971-72 will work on these spindles Now i know there will be a ton of you guys that will be transferring your 3/4 trucks to 1/2 ton with out having to swap front ends I remembered my Baha friend using some ones spindle that took the 3/4 ton ball joint and using it on a 1/2 ton spindle So all you guys swapping out your front ends that have no Alignment problems your worries are Over Give them a call they do ship as well |
