Hello

Its been a while since I have posted so here I go.

I am looking at buying a 1971 C10 but I dont like the stock seats. I guess my 01 GMC sierra has me spoiled

I have seen a thread or two around here about installing seats from 01-07 Chevy's,GMC and Cadillac etc and would like to know the pros and cons of installing these seats.

No downside from my perspective..I've attached a pic of my 72 with 04 Silverado seats.

Looks like the seats in my 01 Sierra

Do those seats put you close to the wheel? What about the leg room?

Do a search on here, been asked over a thousand times. I put some out of a 99 Yukon/Tahoe the 60/40 split and LOOOOOOVEE them.

I'm 6'2 and a tad to fat but sits just right for me.I fabbed up some angle iron to use the existing seat bolt holes so only had to drill 2 extra holes in the center.
