Factory bench Question
The rigid wire that connects the two sides of the mounting brackets has been taken off.
I want to put it back on, I think I remember that it went through some hog rings, is that true? If so how many? The wire is too long if it doesn't. I know that I don't need it if I don't want to adjust the seat, and Iprobably won't adjust it, I would just like it back on. Photos?

That sounds right. The hog ring was used to keep the wire up and out of the way.

Actually there should be a small metal loop attached to the bottom of the seat springs midway across the bottom of the seat that it slides through before connecting on either side.

Does it go through just one hog ring?

Mine goes through only one hog ring...if it still has too much slack to adjust the seat back and forth, put it through another hog ring.
