Did our CST Blazers come from the factory with carpet installed on the rear wheel well housings?

On a related note, I found the carpet made installing the reproduction rear panels difficult as the clearance was tight and seemingly didn't accommodate the added width of the carpet. I got them on but would have been easier without wheel well carpet (and if I had removed the top). The repro panels make use of a melamine-like hard backing rather than cardboard like original panels have so have less flex.

My side panels are coming from Truck world and should have been trimed to facilitate the carpet thickness.

Have you checked out truckandcarshop.com ? I get carpet from them and it looked and fit great. (It was on my c10 tho)
