'74 C-10 brake booster on '71 C-10
My '71 has disc front / drum rear without booster and I have chance to pick up booster; master cylinder; proportion valve from a '74. Question is: Will this work? Believe firewall bracket may need to be modified. Thanks for any help.

Yes it work and yes you are correct you will have to trim the power booster bracket a little...oh and don't forget to adjust your pedal pushrod too.

Thanks Scott, I have a better feeling about getting started on this switch-over now. Pick up booster tonight and I'll let you know how it turned out before weekend.

Now have power brakes on my '71 longbed. It wasn't the hardest think I've done lately but getting the piston rod the right length was a challenge. I have pictures but need to post them to photobucket first...tomorrow, Miller time now.
