Question intermittent wipers

Anyone know if there is an aftermarket intermittent wiper kit for our trucks? I sure would like more than 2 speeds. Maybe I've become spoiled by all the newfangled stuff. My first truck (1957 Corn Binder) had a vacuum wiper motor. Man, that was scary in a heavy rain or snow on an uphill grade (engine vac at a minimum and wipers came to a stop or just creeped).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Yeah, I had to use my truck in the rain a couple of weeks ago and it was the sucks. I kept having to switch between low speed and off because I was hitting patches of heavy rain, then light rain, then heavy, then medium, then light, then heavy... UGH.

Has anybody gotten a tilt column with the wiper switches on the arm like the new cars?

Thanks to all who replied. SCOTI, thats one helluva nice setup you've got. Nice work! I wonder if the J.C. Whitney switches will hold up very well???? But for 16 bucks what the heck. On the other hand I wouldn't want to modify my dash to install a cheap P.O.S.

I've got a switch like the jc whitney unit, installed it many years ago and it still works great.... you can still use your wipers without it, but when turned on, you can adjust the delay, no matter what speed (lo/hi) you're using.

Hid it outa site under the dash, by the kick panel vent handle.

Thanks bigvinnie, I wanted to keep it simple and that J.C.W. unit is just the ticket. I'm gonna give 'ol J.C. another try!
