Re: Truck World seat covers

Adam,
Wow, I had exactly the opposite service from Truck Seats. They sent me several samples of green to look at, however none of them would work. I went to a fabric store and found the two shades that would work. I called them and we discussed how to two-tone the seats, and how many yards of each shade I would need. I purchased the material and sent it to them and they stitched up my Buddy Bucket covers, which came out awesome. I had some material left over, so I had them make me Door Panels and a Headliner also, which were also really nice.
One advantage of Truck Seats is that they do "Blind Stitching", which means that they stitch from the back so that the thread is pulled tight against the top of the material. This is almost a lost art.
Years ago I bought a replacement cover for the original folding seat from one of the catalogs, and I found that it wasn't made exactly like the original either. I had the same problem that you experienced, and I had to add Zip Ties to extend the back cover so that I could hog ring it to the frame.
