Hotchkis Front Shocks
I was looking into the Hotchkis front shock setup p/n 70390. It is listed as fitting 63-72.Is there a reason they aren't listed to fit the 73-87? I was wondering if fitment on stock 73-87 a-arms would be an issue? I have moved my lower forward. Does anyone forsee problems with either mounting or length?

I'll ask our head R&D. I'm pretty confident everything would physically fit, but I don't think we've done testing/fitment on that platform.

Dan he may have the same setup as I have. A 63 to 72 with 73 to 87 control arms. I also have moved my lowers ahead. I moved mine 3/4" forward. It does bind the shock some at the bottom. I am working on a top mount that re-aligns the shock with the forward lower.

It shifts the shock rearward about 1" & put's it just about where it was before the caster mod. I tried it on my CC.

I was figuring I'd move the relocation bracket forward until the angle looked good. Mainly I was concerned about length. The Hotchkis setup uses a short coil and not a dropped spindle I believe.
