Got the cab on, now what? Experienced Frame-Off gurus step inside...

Got my cab set down on the frame this weekend, now I'm trying to plan my next steps. I have been looking at MANY of the build threads to see how/what/when others are doing things, but I figured I'd post it up for discussion. I have all the parts already - wiring kit, interior pieces and all the underhood stuff.

My plan was to lay down the Dynamat inside the cab, then mount the brake & clutch master cylinders on the firewall, plumb the hydraulics (brakes/steering) under the hood then jump back inside and install the wiring harness inside, wire the engine and finish out the interior. Then install the fenders, hood and doors.

I just want to go in an order where I'm not fighting myself having to take stuff back apart due to doing things out of order. There is a pile of parts sitting in my garage so it's hard to resist the urge to just start bolting crap on just to see what it looks like. I want to be more efficient at this stage in the project so I can be driving this thing come spring of 2015.

I'm sure everyone has a different way to do it. When Mine was at the place yours is I started by putting the doors on, then put all the glass back in it followed by the everything on the inside i.e. Steering column gage cluster etc. then sent it over to have the wiring put in it.

The steps i use are as follow. Interior- put everything that can be chunked, Heater ducts etc. together before hand . Start at the dash pad and work down and out. From pad do the wiring and then radio and heater. Run ducting and dash cluster. From there glove box and column and emergency brake assembly. From there install carpet dome light seat belts and then gas tank. Install seat then doors and and window regulators. Install glass loosely and then install vent windows, followed by weather striping. On engine bay run engine harness across firewall and hook up starter etc. Install outside heater box if not already complete with interior stuff. Run headlight harness and hook up at core support. Install inner fenders next- the cab will square core support via the inner fenders. Install all of this loosely. Install outer fenders based off of doors and adjust as needed. Install hood latch, hood hinges and grill. Install front bumper. Front assembly should be complete or very close from this point. Hope this helps.

Good advise! I would wait on installing the doors until the interior is nearly done so that you don't have to work/walk around them all the time. Nice truck by the way!

I had planned to put the doors on after the bulk of the interior work was finished since I'm working out of a two car garage packed with all my tools and parts to keep from hitting the doors on something and messing them up.

Thank you - matte clear on the interior & underhood. The outside and door jambs are gloss.

Yes, the bulkhead is for the heat & air. As for the suspension, its a mix of CPP & Hotchkis with an '86 Camaro IROC-Z rear bar and some homemade stuff thrown in to keep it interesting.

And i ALMOST went with that color too but the orange grew on me... well that and my og firewall paint polished up real pretty.
Did you customize the rad support or buy it like that?

here's a pic with some sun on it. As for the core support, it's stock, but I took a couple hole saws and some dimple dies to it.
