Ps leak help!!!!

My Son's 99 GMC has a PS leak that has drained the pump dry and covered the Driver side of the engine compartment in fluid. The front and top of the pump are dry,so it didnt come from the cap or around the front seal area. The fluid obviously sprayed off the bottom of the hood and covered the top of the battery, the brake booster and the master cylinder. After refilling the pump and running the truck I can find no sign of where the PS fluid came from.Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Ps leak help!!!!

Did you figure it out yet? Could be a split hose? Have someone turn the wheel while you're looking so the system is under load and will leak when you want it to.

Re: Ps leak help!!!!

Yeah...find a pile of mud to park the front tires on and turn from side to side while in neutral and revving. if you cleaned everything up in there after the fluid loss, you should be able to find it fairly easily.
