It looks like the clip to hold the windshield wiper arms on to arm on the wiper motor

yo Muckyp; i believe it and one other go to pins that connect your push rods on your brake system. You know the brake rods behind the master cylinder,the ones that connect the brake pedal to the master cylinder. They can be quite a PITA to put on without dropping them. wish i had a pix. hope this helps.

found a pix. if you look closely you can see it on the end of the rod, in-between the master cylinder mounting bracket. theres one one the rod just out of sight just below the one you can see.

I would put my money on your answer Mark. The power brake adapter bracket has different clips and are a different design completely.

I will be working on parting a 72 tomorrow and will look at both clips to be sure.

ok. i was wrong.Livrat wins this one. It is the clip that hold the wiper arms to the moter. Found a pix on the inter web.


I'll just be over here for a while,being quiet,not touching anything,LoL
