I am looking to delete my handle,so a section for that and in the recess area just above the GMC lettering.Thanks .

I should be able to help you.

If I could imagine it, I would say you would need the metal that is just left or right of where the handle is to be able to patch that section.

In the attached photo, I marked a location in red. Is that the section you would need? Does it have to be from a GMC gate or will a section from a Chevrolet work?

Either brand will work, and yes just as you have marked in red. Two pieces would be great. I am out of town on a family emergency so I have no way to measure but maybe two pieces 10",or 11" long and enough to cover the handle and the recess.Thanks. Calvin.

I happen to have a junk gate I can get these cuts from just as shown in the photo above.

12 x 12 inch piece is $25.00 or $45.00 for two pieces plus shipping. I would figure $15.00 to $20.00 to ship.

I can get you actual photos of the exact gate that the pieces will come from, if you need photos.
