Is this Right?
I took my bumper off to get rechromed and when i got the park lights apart they are painted inside. Is this correct or as i though they should be metal colour. After posting I looked at it again and I guess it must have been painted because the gasket surely wouldn't have paint on it.

They were painted white. Yours may have had a touch up, or some of the original paint may have come off onto the gasket and the gasket was installed with the backside facing out during a bulb change.

Thank you. That is good to know. My truck is pretty original and this kind of threw me off as i said I thought they'd be bare metal inside and wondered why they had been painted.
