Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

Sneak peek of the upcoming Greenlight series:

There are going to be other vehicle/trailer combos including an enclosed car hauler and an Airstream trailer. Can't wait.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

Yeah. I'd really like to get some of the Airstream trailers.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

No sure where these are going to be sold. They are supposed to be out in September.

I'm interested to see how the hitch is mounted to the vehicles and if it is easily transferred to other trucks. I wish everything was like Jada where you can unscrew the bottom and swap with any other Jada trucks.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

Where are any Greenlights sold? I've never seen a store that sells them, just people reselling on Ebay and a few diecast sites. I have no idea what they even cost before price is jumped up by first buyer.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

Thanks for that list,Robert. I guess I've seen a sprinkling of not desirable to me GLs at some of those stores. They pump out so many models I'm surprised there's no place with a huge selection.
Hot Wheels are dollar toys at the store. People resell them at about $3 online. Then, some values go up based on demand. With these Greenlight Chevy Trucks I have no idea what retail value is,so I have no idea how much extra I'm paying. Bsically with collecting I go by whether I want it or not and not the price. I don't need it,so if I'm worried about how much I spend I'll just spend nothing. As long as I feel ok about what I spend and I have that much is all that matters...unless the price is crazy, then I move on.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

Got mine yesterday. It's a cool set up and they have a Series 2 version in the works with an Orange/White truck. Unfortunately, the upcoming version has the same trailer (due to packaging I suspect). I wish they could rotate the different trailers through - I'd really like to have the Airstream and I don't need several flatbed car trailers.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

I got mine from off of Ebay. Reasonable price and combined shipping trumps driving all over looking for one. Toys-R-Us is the only place around me that carries a decent selection of Greenlights and they don't stay very up-to-date. I can generally find HW & Jada at Wal-Mart, though.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

Black and white with a black flatbed trailer. The second series is orange and white with a silver flatbed trailer.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

I got mine. Started with 2 of each. AND then; not so exact with an exacto knife; I got a Cheyenne with Airstream. The trailer didn't fit behind the Impala as good as the Airstream.
Everything is metal. The tow hooks aren't removable. The screw jacks for the trailers works too.

Re: Greenlight: Hitch & Tow Series

Good work, Robert. I haven't pulled the trigger on the Impala/Airstream yet. I generally wait until I can order a couple things from one seller and combine shipping.

I bought all 4 from one seller; on eBay. Shipping was $8.50.
