advice on painting your truck the original color

hi.

just bought a 1955 3100.

red paint that is faded, and worn through in spots - a great color.

I want to paint it the same color. looks like some places will mix it up and sell it to you, but no guarantee of match (since it is an old color).

anyone have first hand experience in painting their truck in the same color as factory, and if yes, what did you use and by which seller?
