How rare these?
How hard to find are in body wreckers? I know of two of them and one is near by here, it's a '68 GMC 4x4 with a wrecker inside the pickup box. It's got a 305 v-6 in it and had a sm465/T221. The winch is gone too, my friend has that now. As far as I know it's pretty well gone body wise but are these worth anything to anyone?

I've seen 3 of them around here, they are cab and chassis. One I know had a holmes 440 boom in back. Never seen a 4wd one though. Did the 4wd have a dual rear axle?

There are so many 67 - 72 tow trucks here that I stopped counting.
There is actually one still in service, a white 71 C/30. |

69 GMC with a 351 V-6 one ton chassis. This rig was pretty cool IMO.
Hmmm, seem to have lost the one that was in color. |

After reading the original post again...
Were you refering to a normal pick up with a boom and stuff mounted in the bed? Like this? |

The yellow one that Longhorn Man posted, just a boom and winch and stuff inside the pickup box on a regular 3/4 ton or single wheel 1 ton truck.
