sound deadening question

I hope this is not an old subject.

Has anyone tried any of the generic dynamat alternatives sold on ebay? I have seen a couple that are tremendously cheaper than dynamat and was hoping that someone would know if they are any good.

Thanks for any input.

I am going to try this stuff. Its cheaper.

I haven't looked at this stuff but someone posted they used it and liked it. Cheap and easy to get. Home Depot
