custom suspension 58 apache

Could any of you 4x4 guys take a look at this suspension set-up and tell me if you see any problems or concerns. This truck is being built for road use only.

By far an expert, but looks like both front and rear arms are too short. Won't get much axle movement up and down....

im no expert either but it looks functional for road use only, the front reminds me of a newer ford e-450

It should ride ok depending spring rates in those coilovers. If you want it to ride like a caddy longer arms and longer coilovers.

Re: custom suspension 58 apache

Might want to think about some bracing on those rear coilover mounts and I'll agree with the others...arms are way too short.

On some jeeps the stock front arms are that short. Its a street truck it should be fine that short. How long are the coilovers and how much total travel do you have?

Re: custom suspension 58 apache

I believe they are 17 inch coils and are set for 3-4 inches of travel.

Re: custom suspension 58 apache

on road only it should be ok. not much travel with coilovers. Like Redcap says beef up the coil mounts.
