Two wheel drive solid front axle

Am I crazy for wanting to do something way out and make a two wheel drive square body with a solid front axle like the old days , I may need a straight jacket and a kidney belt

Gasser would be cool been kicking the idea around in my head of converting my 84 to the 79 and older clip and a stepside. Go full bore gasser style. Could be cool could go horribly wrong.

Re: Two wheel drive solid front axle

Someplace, someone linked a CL add that basically was a straight axle. Looked like it was a K series truck with a bad front axle, fixed with a piece of pipe and a couple spindles.

My memory may be off (I am getting a little older.) but I believe it was out west, maybe AZ?

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.
