I saw it done on another thread and couldn't help but do it too. I think it cleans it up a lot...

What thickness metal did you use for the frame work? I tried to use some left over crossmember metal but it was a different thickness so I'll have to buy some.

I think it was 3/16"....it was a bit thicker but I kept the top flush and ground most of it down...

I picked up some '68 front fenders cheap, that some body hacked some Camaro vents into the side of, so I made a quick patch, and slapped some bondo on 'em quick to hide that mess....not sure if I will use these, but they work good enough for mock up...

slapped my mangled grill, and beater hood on for some motivation/inspiration......hopefully Monday I will hear back from Dave at PB Fab with some good news..
