Package it good & get full insurance coverage (engines are just too tempting).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Shipping a motor

Don't know about shipping a motor to Canada but I shipped one halfway across the country via ABF Freight and it was cheap. I paid $187.00 for a complete SBC motor insured for $1,500.00. If anyone knows a cheaper way than this please post.

well the cheapest shipping quote from roadway was $236. i guess thats pretty reasonable considering its a long distance and plus out of the country.

how far in to canada are you shipping it? We deliver alot of stuff to brokers at the border and they take it across or make arrangements for the consignee(customer) to pick it up themselves. I drive freight truck for a living. Oh yea don't let them put RVNX any where on the freight bill cause that means no matter on insurance they only pay .05 on the dollar.

Roadway is pretty big around here, I know a driver of 25 years. Never heard any bad stories.
