49 interior windshield divider
anyone know what the extra little set screw in the divider is for . maybe rear view mirror?

Yep, if its at the top a simple bracket with a single screw is for the rear view mirror.

Thanks, it's not a wasted day, I learned something there. I don't think my truck has had that inside piece in it since I chopped it in 1980.
