I didn't improve much with the gears and posi! I went to the track sturday afternoon and made several passes! I was the only one running so we did't spray the track at all. I improved from a best of 9.128 1/8 mile to 9.103. I did have to pull the heads to install screw in studs and I'm sure I can do some more tweaking! I also improved my 60 ft time from a 2.08 to a 2.05!

For those not in on the earlier post! 71 short wide fleet with a zz4 clone with vortec heads, 1.6 roller rockers, 650 double pumper, turbo 350 with a small stall. Just changed from 3.07 single track to 3.73 posi.

I actually had a better 60ft time. I thought it would pick up more. It may take just a little more tuning and another valve adjustment!

What cam are you running? and how small is the stall

This dual-pattern profile has .474” intake lift and .510” exhaust lift. Intake duration is 208 degrees (at .050” tappet lift), and exhaust duration is 221 degrees." Quoted from Sallee Chevrolet website
These are the specs but I do have 1.6 ratio rockers instead of 1.5
The stall is about 2300-2500

The best I've been in the quarter so far was14.30 and that was with the 3.07 gear I could only get a 14.39 saturday but who knows what the air quality differance was.
