Re: 72 Step - Rust elimination = driver
Well today was the first day I've ever used a spray gun. I learned how to make paint (eastwood epoxy primer) run multiple times on one panel. By the time I had it figured out I was "done"
Sorry for all the crappy phone pics, I need to remember to get my real camera out more often! Also ordered a PSI harness for the ls to clean up under the hood. Getting there...

Re: 72 Step - Rust elimination = driver
Cant believe I finally stumbled into this thread. Is the 4.8 and nv3500 all out of the same truck or did you piece it together? Stock engine?
I'm curious how you did your pedals and clutch M/C. |

Re: 72 Step - Rust elimination = driver
It's pieced, but if I were to do it again just get the combo that belongs together! 92 trans, 01 4.8, stock, TBSS manifolds. Master cylinder was just some guess work. I got the master from the 92 including pedals and everything. I used heim joints to make a "pushrod" for lack of better words. Just drilled the stock pedal arm and put the pushrod on there. Biggest thing is making sure the "throw" is the right distance! There's other threads on how to do it with aftermarket master cylinders too...
