C60 basics - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I see an ad locally for a 1966 C60 with Chev 366 big block and 5-speed. I take it this is a Chev two-ton, a truck only big block... what is this five speed? What rear axle came in these things?

I guess what I'm really asking is - is there a primer or sticky or web site that will get me oriented to these trucks?

Front disc, power steering, Vortec 4.8 / 4L60E swap, hydro boost brakes & patina.
